Within 24 hours, Rohtas Police solved the incident of truck laden with lentils at Daudnagar Nasriganj Son bridge of Nasriganj police station area in Rohtas district. The driver of the truck was the mastermind of the robbery and carried out the robbery along with his assistant.

In this regard, while giving a press conference at Nasriganj police station, SP Roshan Kumar said that the incident has been solved. The culprit behind the robbery turned out to be the truck driver. In this regard, a team was formed under the leadership of SDPO Bikramganj Kumar Sanjay to unravel the scandal. Nasriganj police station incharge and DIU team were included in this. When the formed team interrogated the truck driver Yogendra Yadav, when suspicion arose, he was strictly interrogated, after which he exposed the conspiracy hatched by him and his co-driver cum assistant Dinanath Ojha to rob the truck loaded with the said masoor dal and said, Both of them had conspired to sell the looted pulses to one of their friends, resident of Arwal.
The place of the said incident was the deserted Daudnagar bridge road. The driver told that as part of a well-planned conspiracy, he sold the pulses loaded on the truck to Khalasi’s friend Shekhar Kumar alias Dhannu Sharma, a resident of Arwal, left the truck parked on the roadside in Arwal and came to Nasriganj police station, making up a fabricated story about the truck. FIR lodged. The truck has been recovered from Mehndiya in Arwal district through scientific research. The looted pulses loaded on it were 25 tonnes in 366 sacks and 750 plastic sacks were recovered.
The main accused in the case, truck driver Yogendra Yadav, resident of Paharpur of Bihian police station in Bhojpur district and his associate Shekhar Kumar alias Dhannu Sharma, resident of Pambhai village of Telpa police station in Arwal district, have been arrested and sent to jail. The police will soon arrest the Khalasi and others involved in the scandal. The driver of the truck conspired to commit robbery while loading pulses from Bahraich in UP on 10th December and had selected the robbery site.
The police took immediate action and detected the incident. All the police officers and personnel of the said team will be rewarded. SP said that criminals will not be allowed to roam in Rohtas. Rohtas police is ready 24 hours to crack down on criminals. The police is considering it a big success for solving the said robbery case within 24 hours. Let us tell you that last Friday, the truck driver had lodged an FIR regarding the robbery of a truck laden with lentils from Nasriganj Daudnagar bridge.
